Corporations, companies, churches, institutions of higher learning, and a varied assortment of other organizations all publish Mission Statements, Purpose Statements, Core Values, etc. to share with the world, their employees, and anybody else with a vested interest or concern about what these organizations stand for (or against) and are about, and so shall I.
The mission of this blog is to provide an outlet for individuals to share with one another their hunger to follow Jesus, their hurts in doing so (church is messy and people do get hurt), and their desire to see other people follow Jesus.
I (Chris Herrmann) will approve all comments (except spam) in an effort to allow open lines of communication to exist. Furthermore, those who bring enough thought provoking ideas through comments will be given contibutor status, as I know I do not have all the answers and would like this to become a community of believers, searchers, and skeptics alike.
